Any preparation you do can assist you during the meeting, however it’s rarely necessary. The primary questions we will need to know before we can dive into the design meeting are: 1. The location of your block and 2. Your overall building budget. These will be the biggest constraints that we will need to know to serve you best.

Most new homes are a joy to live in, however a custom home truly makes the home your own. While many components of a home are similar (we all have a kitchen) every kitchen can be very different. Some of our clients are home cooks, some professional chefs and others, well lets just say they don’t enjoy cooking that much. A great kitchen design that is tailored to you personally will make that area much more enjoyable. It’s true of every other room in the house.
So if you’re looking for maximum enjoyment and comfort, a custom home is the way to go.

Beaumonde Homes designs homes to our clients building budget. We’ve been doing this for more than 35 years and because we design AND build, our designs are always very close to the initial budget given to us by our clients.
Some people may fall into the trap of having a home designed by a non-builder and find they blow their budget. However that’s not the case with a specialist design & build custom home builder like Beaumonde Homes.

Our design process always follows the same workflow.
1. First is the design brief where we gather all the information for your new home.
2. We create the initial concept sketch and present it to you.
3. This is your opportunity to request any other amendments you would like.
4. Once the concept sketch is finalised, we provide you a detailed price which includes site costs.
5. If you’re happy with the design and pricing, we move to formalising the contract documents so we can begin construction.

Typically a custom home takes the same amount of time as a project home of similar size and specification. However the process is different, especially in the design and consultation stages. This is why we commit our resources and provide you the best of our team to deliver an exceptional home design and fantastic construction experience every step of the way.
